News from SAIA Practice

Apart from several other ongoing initiatives, much planning, time and effort have gone into developing and finalising the recently launched SAIA Practice Benchmarking and Fees Survey. The aim is to establish the state of the profession, through a comprehensive online survey into two main aspects of practice; the business and management of a practice and the fees architects are paid.

The responsible principal of all SAIA Practices would have received a unique link to access the survey. All the necessary instructions are on the front page of the survey, which is divided into seven sections, each addressing a key aspect of practice, from profitability to salaries, expenses, staff ratios, marketing spend and jobs won and chased. The last two sections address fees and projects.
