CAMPUS PLANNING AND EDUCATIONAL BUILDINGS: CPD COURSE 12 & 13 FEBRUARY 2010

Due to mergers, obsolescence and the need for renewal most campuses and educational buildings, both at school and tertiary levels, are increasingly becoming the subject of professional attention.  This course is designed to review current trends in the design and execution of campuses and educational buildings in the light of the needs of architectural and other associated professions, client bodies, the construction industries and social and cultural demands.  The scope is deliberately inclusive of urban design aspects of campus planning, its definition by individual buildings and theoretical premises underlying the design of educational buildings.  Vigorous debate among academics, practising professionals in built environment, clients and end users is anticipated and so are constructive proposals for the future.

You are invited to attend this CPD course and enter the forum of this debate.
